Service · Forward-Deployed AI Engineering

Deploy AI in your facilitieswith confidence.

Most skilled nursing operators know AI matters. Few can risk exposing protected health information (PHI), or hallucinated documentation, or a rip-and-replace project to get it. Our engineers embed with your team and ship working AI safely — on whatever foundation fits you.

Three ways in

Your AI, our AI, or frontier AI under our BAA

Model 1

Deploy CareDocs.ai, tailored

Our products, fitted to your operation: implementation, PointClickCare integration, workflow configuration, Coach-led therapist onboarding, and custom reports.

Model 2

Bring your own AI

You hold contracts with Microsoft, OpenAI, or Anthropic? We build custom agents and integrations on your contracts, inside your tenancy and governance — provided they include HIPAA-eligible services under a BAA with your provider (we verify that coverage during discovery).

Model 3

AI under our BAA

No AI contracts? We provision HIPAA-eligible frontier AI under our Business Associate Agreement and build custom solutions that extract value from the systems you already run.

Who it's for

Built for teams like yours

  • SNF operators who know AI matters but can’t risk PHI leaks or hallucinated documentation
  • Organizations with existing Microsoft, OpenAI, or Anthropic relationships and no healthcare AI engineers
  • Teams whose legacy systems still work — but leave value on the table
  • Leaders who want working AI this quarter instead of a two-year transformation program

Independent by design

This service stands on its own — no CareDocs.ai product purchase required. We build new agents and integrations alongside the systems you already run; nothing is replaced, and every connection is one you approve.

What we deliver

Concrete outcomes, not slide decks

Custom AI agents

Purpose-built agents for your workflows — intake, documentation review, reporting, back-office automation — grounded in your data.

Integration engineering

Connections into the systems you already run: EHRs, billing, scheduling, HR — extracting value without replacing anything.

Safe-deployment guardrails

PHI handling, pre-rollout evaluation, human-in-the-loop review, and audit trails — the discipline that makes healthcare AI deployable.

Staff enablement

Your team trained on what the AI does, where its limits are, and how to supervise it — so adoption sticks.

How an engagement works

Discover → Pilot → Deploy → Operate

1

Discover

We embed briefly with your team to find the workflow where AI pays back fastest.

2

Pilot

A working solution on one real workflow, measured against agreed success criteria.

3

Deploy

Hardened, integrated, and rolled out with training and guardrails.

4

Operate

We monitor, tune, and extend — or hand it fully to your team. Your call.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

We already have AI contracts with Microsoft / OpenAI / Anthropic. Can you build on those?

Yes — that’s one of our three engagement models. We build custom agents and integrations inside your tenancy, on your contracts, under your governance. One prerequisite: for any workflow touching PHI, your agreement must include HIPAA-eligible services under a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with the provider — we verify that coverage during discovery, and if it’s missing, our BAA model covers you instead.

We have no AI contracts at all. Where do we start?

Under our HIPAA BAA. We provision HIPAA-eligible frontier AI and build the solution on top — you get working AI without procuring anything new.

Do we have to replace any of our existing systems?

No. The whole point of forward deployment is extracting value from what you already run — your EHR, your billing system, your scheduling tools. We integrate; we don’t rip and replace.

What does "safe deployment" actually mean?

PHI-aware data handling, evaluation before rollout, human-in-the-loop review on anything consequential, audit trails on AI activity, and staff enablement so your team understands what the AI does and doesn’t do.

What does a typical first engagement look like?

A scoping call, then a short discovery inside your operation, then a pilot on one concrete workflow — something measurable within weeks. If the pilot earns it, we deploy and operate.

Working AI in weeks, not quarters.

Book a scoping call — bring the workflow that hurts, leave with an approach.
